As Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) was reading a 1986 letter from Coretta Scott King, regarding Jefferson Beauregard Sessions and his lack of qualifications to be the next Attorney General of the United States, she was silenced and denied access to further debate by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).
Later, McConnell said, "She was warned. She was given an explanation. Nevertheless, she persisted." Subsequently, McConnell allowed several male Senators to read the letter.
McConnell and most of the GOP have lost their moral compass.
